About Me

I teach philosophy at the university in Jaipur, though my students would tell you I spend more time questioning their questions than answering them. I come from a family of Vedic scholars - my grandfather read birth charts, my father taught Sanskrit, and I seem to have inherited all of it. I believe the deepest problems cannot be solved, only understood. If you come to me looking for quick answers, I will disappoint you. If you come wanting to understand why you keep asking the same questions, we may find something together. I am grading papers right now, but some questions are more important than deadlines.
